시구리마을이 속한 삼곡리는 1970년대 마을 중심부에 대규모 광장을 조성하고 1972년에 충청남도 내에서 최초로 경지 정리가 된 마을로 너른 들을 중심으로 농사를 짓기 시작했다. 그리하여 삼곡리는 마을 중심부의 대규모 광장을 중심으로 8갈래 길로 나뉘어진 다이아몬드 형태로 조성되어 있고 ‘샤인 머스캣’, ‘캠벨’, ‘거봉’ 등 다양한 종류의 포도를 경작하고 있다. 마을 주민들간의 교류가 활발하여 친화력이 높고 마을 행사의 주민 참여도가 높아 발전 가능성을 엿볼 수 있었고, 공공디자인 사업을 통해 삼곡리마을의 내생적 발전과 더불어 안정적인 경제활동 기반을 마련한다.

Samgok-ri, where Siguri Village is located, was developed in the 1970s with a large central square in the village. In 1972, it became the first village in Chungcheongnam-do to undergo land consolidation, with wide fields at its core where farming began. As a result, Samgok-ri is designed in a diamond shape, divided into eight roads branching out from the large central square, and cultivates various types of grapes such as 'Shine Muscat,' 'Campbell,' and 'Geobong.' The village has a high level of interaction among residents, fostering a strong sense of community and high participation in village events, indicating potential for development. Through public design projects, efforts are made to promote the internal development of Samgok-ri Village and establish a stable economic foundation for the village's activities.
