2012년 천안 원도심 노후주거지에 조성된 미나릿길 벽화마을에 대한 체계적인 진단을 통해 공간적 특성과 골목길 실태를 파악하고 문제점을 도출하여 활성화를 위한 전략적 대응 방안을 모색하였다. 대대적인 주거지 개발이 이루어지는 천안 원도심에서 시민들에게 휴식을 제공하고 도시 어메니티를 채우는 공간으로서 미나릿길 벽화마을의 역할을 제시하였다.

대상지의 빈집과 한옥들을 활용하여 문화적 거점공간, 시민 활동공간 등을 조성하는 구상안을 제시하였으며, 이를 실현할 수 있도록 기반 조성 방안 및 단계적 추진 전략, 여건에 따른 사업 대안들을 제시하여 향후 구체적 계획을 위한 근간을 마련하였다.

Through a systematic diagnosis of the Minari-gil mural village, which was created in the old residential area of Cheonan in 2012, we identified the spatial characteristics and alleyway conditions, problem, and sought for strategic measures for revitalization. We presented the role of the Minari-gil mural vllage as a space that provides rest to citizens and fills urban amenities in the downtown area of Cheonan, where large-scale residential development is taking place.

We presented a plan to create a cultural hub and a space for civic activities by utilizing the empty houses and hanoks, and presented a plan of implementation strategy and business options according to conditions, thereby laying the foundation for specific future plans.
