광양읍 도시재생 골목활성화 공모전을 위한 워크숍 ‘초일상’은 광양읍 주민과 참가자, 참가학생(전국대학생대상)등이 모여 광양읍을 관찰하며 대안 정주지로서의 가능성을 찾고 지역문화를 바탕으로 결과물을 만들어 나가는 프로젝트로 기획되었다. 건축, 조경, 도시, 디자인 등 여러 분야의 전문가들과 참가자들이 모여 함께 다양한 시각으로 광양읍을 돌아보고 지역주민과 협업을 경험하며 초일상을 체험하였다. 워크숍은 2차례 진행되었으며-1차(2019.09.27.)/2차*2019.10.31.-11.2) 참가 인원은 전국 9개 시도, 22개 대학생을 포함하여 총 75명(멘토 17명, 멘티 58명)이 참가하였다. 골목공간(Space), 이벤트(Event), 가로시설물(Street Funiture)등의 다양한 아웃풋이 도출되었다.

A workshop called "Choil Sang" was conducted for the Gwangyang-eup Urban Regeneration Alley Activation Contest. Gwangyang-eup residents, participants, and participating students (nationwide university students) gathered together to observe Gwangyang-eup, explore its potential as an alternative settlement, and create outcomes based on local culture. Experts from various fields such as architecture, landscaping, urban planning, and design, along with participants, gathered to explore Gwangyang-eup from different perspectives and experience collaboration with local residents, immersing themselves in "Choil Sang" or the extraordinary everyday life. The workshop was conducted twice - the first session on September 27, 2019, and the second session from October 31 to November 2, 2019. A total of 75 participants, including 17 mentors and 58 mentees, took part, representing 9 cities and 22 universities nationwide. Various outputs such as alley spaces, events, and street furniture were derived.
