공주 원도심 반죽동과 봉황동 일대는 주거환경이 열악하고 쇠퇴현상이 누적된 지연으로 기반시설이 부족하고 낙후되어 있다. 공주시는 기반시설인 쌈지공원과 주차장 및 도로 정비등을 통해 주민의 자생적인 주거 환경개선을 유도하고자 하였다. 특히 원도심내 4개 주거환경개선지구중 큰샘A지구와 대통지구의 경우 봉황로 확장과 주민협의에 따른 구역 변경을 통해 원할한 사업진행을 이루고자 하였다. 사업 시행후 낙후된 도심이 쾌적한 삶의 공간으로 재탄생하기를 기대해 본다.

The areas around Banjuck-dong and Bonghwang-dong in the original downtown of Gongju are poor residential environments and lack infrastructure and are outdated due to accumulated decline. Gongju City attempted to encourage residents to self-reliantly improve their residential environment through infrastructure such as Ssamzie Park, parking lots, and road maintenance. In particular, in the case of Keunsaem A District and Daetong District in the original downtown, we sought to achieve smooth project progress through expansion of Bonghwang-ro and district changes based on resident consultation. We hope that after the project is implemented, the underdeveloped city center will be reborn as a comfortable living space.
